I knew when I was only seven years old that when I grew up that I wanted to be a baker just like my gram. Or at least that what I told my pap at that age. When I got older I kept true to my word and helped my gram with her cakes.  During the summers of my teenage years I would help my Gram doing small things like cleaning cake pans, making pearls, mixing icing. All the small things that add up to one final finished product. That's where I got my true appreciation for cakes and where I learned my patience.

I decided to name Breeze cakes as a play on my name. It sounds a lot like Bri's Cakes, but with a fun twist. And it makes me think of the beach. I mean who doesn't love the beach?
